1950s Wrought Iron Tea Cart with Glass Shelves and Floral Motifs
In the 1950s this cart was used as a tea cart, bar cart, or serving cart for outdoor entertainment. Today it would be perfect for a garden, patio, or sunroom. The glass shelves add elegance while the decorative floral motif elements add to its aesthetic appeal.
I put a lot of work into making it beautiful again. I used a wire brush and sandpaper to get rid of surface rust and smooth it. Then I used a high-quality exterior spray primer followed by high-quality white enamel. I taped off the floral motifs and painted the roses pink and leaves green with a high-quality exterior paint. Last, I scrubbed the glass shelves to bring it back to almost new. Can be used inside or outside and you could add wheels if you want to use it as a cart again.
