By upcycling or repurposing this end table, we saved it from going to the landfill and now it will be enjoyed by a new owner. After taking the end table apart, I thoroughly cleaned it, sanded it, repaired some damage, and then applied 2 coats of Zinsser BIN shellac primer followed by 3 coats of Sherwin Williams Cabinet & Furniture satin paint in their Sea Salt color. I used a high-quality floral wallpaper on the shelves and installed battery operated lighting. I stained the top with 3 coats of Behr aged gray water-based wood effects stain and 3 coats of Behr water-based polyurethane satin clear coat.
With its wood grain top, sea salt color, floral wallpaper, adjustable shelf, and battery operated lighting, this end table will make a nice decorative and functional addition to your home.
